[SIMS] Changing surname output in a report

I wondered if anyone knew of a way to change the field output in reports. In SIMS, all our surname fields are set to uppercase. I've been asked if I can generate a report which shows student surnames as Smith instead of SMITH? Is there a way to set this up in the report or do we need to manipulate...
